It\u2019s also inspired authors, artists, and, yes, even graphic designers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>One place you can see this inspiration is in the logos of record companies. They only produced vinyl records and focused on mostly obscure bands in the electronic and alternative scenes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their logo embraces the weirdness and obscurity of the label with its nod to optical illusions that buries the company\u2019s \u201cz\u201d behind overlapping circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluenote.com\/\"><u>Blue Note<\/u><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/flocksy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/blu.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2362\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flocksy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/blu.png 225w, https:\/\/flocksy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/blu-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This seminal jazz record company\u2019s logo (in use from 1939-69) is so iconic that it has come to define the whole genre of jazz music.
