Florencia Ibañez always knew she wanted to be a designer. When she was younger, she worked at a small start-up but soon found herself working as a video designer for Fox and The Walt Disney Company. Now, Florencia is part of our flock here at Flocksy — and we are so happy she is!
Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she has greatly impacted clients in the short time she’s been with us. Not only does Florencia produce amazing videos, but she also creates motion graphics. Read on to see how she keeps herself inspired throughout the workday.
“Design also has to do with functionality, so for me, in addition to giving me a chance to express myself creatively, it means being able to do my part in creating content that provides value and manages to communicate what the clients of the brands want to express.”

“Design, for me, is a way to communicate and express my creativity. Design also has to do with functionality, so for me, in addition to giving me a chance to express myself creatively, it means being able to do my part in creating content that provides value and manages to communicate what the clients of the brands want to express.”
From a very young age, Florencia liked everything related to design and audiovisuals. “My favorite movie as a child was Tonari no Totoro,” and to this day, she’s still a big fan of all the Studio Ghibli movies.
When Florencia was a child, her parents gave her and her brothers a computer. She realized quickly that all the designs and pictures she used to draw on paper, she could draw on the computer — so that’s what she began to do, and hasn’t stopped since! “I always liked everything to do with creativity.”
As a teenager, Florencia began video editing and truly found her calling. After she graduated, she went on to study for a degree in cinema to dedicate herself fully to the field of audiovisuals. Not only was she spending all day at school learning about editing and motion graphics, but also spent her free time teaching herself new editing skills at home from platforms like YouTube and channels like VideoCopilot, or Chachomotion.
When it comes to staying inspired —
“I first research the brand and start the creative process from there. When I have to animate, I usually look for inspiration on YouTube from other creatives, video clips, short films, or advertisements.”
While Florencia doesn’t have a specific tip for overcoming a creative block, her go-to method of inspiring creativity is to play her favorite music. She listens to everything from Rock & Roll to Taylor Swift and makes sure music plays all day, “I listen to everything during the day, but Rock music is my favorite.”
You can feel her dedication to the art of video editing in her projects — which are always engaging, exciting, and full of color. We are always excited to see what she’s able to create next!
Florencia loves working at Flocksy because of “how dynamic it is and the possibility of working with different clients and different styles.” She also says she learns a lot from all the interactions with different companies and clients and enjoys adapting her style to their needs.
“Amazing job, thank you Florencia for making this moment so special for us!”
