How to Leave Feedback For Your Creative

Now that your creative project has been posted on Flocksy, you can sit back and await great results. But when the team member added to your project sends over a draft or proof, you might find yourself facing a difficult question: What do you do if you don’t like the result?

Flocksy makes it easy to request updates or revisions to a project deliverable. You can attach files or leave comments in the chat with the creative. However, to ensure that your project is completed quickly and to your specifications, you should follow these tips.

Be specific in your feedback

If you placed examples or brand documents in the bucket, you can assume that the creative reviewed them. If the deliverable is off the mark, provide them with a detailed explanation of what needs to be done. Clear communication is the key to success.

Make a list of requested changes

It’s usually most effective to list out the changes you want made. Vague requests for improvement don’t tell the creatives much. Identify the specific aspects of the draft or proof where you’d like changes to be made. Then, list those in the chat, or add comments to a file to send to the team member.

Assume the best

Creatives are working from all the information that you provide. If you forget to include something that might help them, feel free to add guidelines or examples in the project chat after you submit the brief. If they miss the mark, reach out to politely request revisions. Team members are more than happy to revise the deliverable to your specifications.

By following these best practices, you’re more likely to get the results you want from our creative team. Should you need changes made, feel free to reach out and request them. Our team members are more than happy to make sure you’re satisfied!
